Comfy Clothing  - Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and beautiful.  We want your photoshoot to be fun and stress-free, so clothing that is weather appropriate will also help.  It might also be a good idea to bring layers to be variations in your photos. 

Choose a Theme or Style - If your maternity photos get taken during a specific season or holiday, you can incorporate that theme into your photos.  You can also have your photos indoors, outdoors, or a combination of the two taken.  Some mothers choose an ethereal style photoshoot in Mother Nature, while some select artistic shots in a milk bath.  The possibilities are endless!  And while most maternity photos get taken towards the end of pregnancy, you might also want a themed photo to announce your pregnancy sooner to friends and family. 

Props that Compliment the Location - Props are not necessary or required, as you and your growing baby will be the stars of the show.  However, adding a sled to your winter theme or a bouquet to hold while posing can add an extra touch of fun and whimsy.
